Our Ham Steaks are cut from the ham of our woodland pasture-raised hogs. Each steak consists of great-tasting meat with a medium fat cap attached to a small piece of leg bone. Leaving the steak on the bone adds additional flavor and helps the meat cook evenly.
Our hogs eat a diet of Organic feed in addition to roaming and rooting through the woods eating seeds and nuts. As a result, the pork has an unmatched nutty flavor that isn’t found in conventional pork.
Each package of Harris Homeplace Farm Ham Steaks weigh less than 2 lbs which is enough to feed two to four people.
