Ribs are the flat, meaty ribs that lie on top of the pork belly. They consist of extra flavorful meat hugging a thin, flat bone. Our butcher cuts away any cartilage and connective tissue leaving a cut that’s easy to cook and even easier to eat!
Ribs are a great way to try our woodland raised pork. The rich, nutty flavor shines in this extra marbled, bone-in cut.
Rib meat is delicious, but it needs to be cooked low and slow to become fall-off-the bone tender.
We recommend coating the ribs with your favorite dry rub or seasoning mix then wrapping them in foil and baking them in a low oven. After the meat becomes tender, unwrap the ribs and crisp up the edges on the grill or under the broiler. Finally, coat with your favorite barbecue sauce and serve with lots of napkins!
Each package of Harris Homeplace Farm Ribs weighs 2 lbs and will feed 2-3 people.
